First thing you need to do is find out what products you want to sell and if you know much about those products.

Second thing is what is you budget on how much you want to spend to market the product you choose to sell as an affiliate.

Third, are you going to start up a website? Or are you going to use pay per click? If your budget is low then PPC is not the right way to go. Unless you have great knowledge in PPC, if you do then go for it. If not , start a website/ word press blog to get a website going to show your products that you want to sell. The advantages to PPC compared to a regular website is PPC will give you keywords that people use to buy your product. This will take a couple of days if not a week as to compared to an seo website that you have to guess to see which keywords work for you and are buying keywords.

Another question, are you SEO savy? If so great then you know what to do to rank.
Now you will want to find a niche product, Niche = a product that is relatively new and is going to catch on fire really soon. Next thing you need to look at once you pick a niche product is how much commission the company you are going to be an affiliate of is going to give you. 10 to 20% is the norm. This is great but if they are selling products at $10 a product then when you sell a product for $10 you get a dollar commission. If you can drive 20 sales a day this is great but 9 times out of ten you will drive 1 sale every month and make a dollar a month which is not profitable.
What you will be looking for is to become and affiliate of a niche product that is $100.00 a sale if not more with about 10% to 20% commission. Most newer online companies will offer 20% commissions just to get you in the door and when you prove yourself and become an elite or super affiliate will up your commission percentage by 5 or 10%.
These are the guys you want to sell for. The ones that appreciate you.
You can find people to sell for by going to these website below and signing up for free.

There is a new product that is on fire in the United Kingdom. It is a company that sells electronic cigarettes. HUGE niche product.
This company is offering affiliates $25 just to become and affiliate. AND! you don’t need a credit card to become an affiliate, just fill out your information and you automatically become and affiliate with a starting commission of $25.
They even give you a back end system where you can create a business card and save it to a .pdf file and then save that to a CD and take it to a office depot, office max to create your business cards so you can give to people to buy for you. Not only that but you business card will have your affiliate code on it that will give your clients a 10% discount if they buy. Who is going to turn down 10% off when they buy the products? So even if you don’t have a website, or work from a highly trafficked office, all you need to do is sign up, create a business card and leave the business cards for people to pick up on your desk and you make money while you sleep! It is just that simple.

Ok I have talked enough and probably racked your mind so here is the link to where you can become and affiliate and get $25 starting bonus.

affiliate marketing is when you promote a product or services of someone else to make money online. The affiliate marketer than pays you a percent of what that product was sold for.. You can even start one by making a product of your own and selling it or having someone else sell it for you and you will have to pay a percent to that person. Butt the main thing is, you should know that you dont make money overnight, it could possibly take a year or two before you can see any substantial gains. With affiliate marketing you’ll have to spend time on promoting your site online wether it be paid or free.

check this site out http://www.qweeksy.yolasite.com for information on affiliate marketing.

Previously responder described precisely what affiliate marketing is all about. While some people make a huge monthly income from affiliate marketing it is easier said than done. 97% of those joining affiliate marketing make very little to none at all.

Affiliate marketing is another kind of online store. Traditional online stores carry inventory, etc. When you join affiliate marketing, you actually become a salesperson for that particular website, and you earn commission when you make a sale. Thus you must drive sufficient traffic to your affiliate website by actively advertising your affiliate site, If you are on a limited budget, Traffic Exchange is the way to go. Otherwise the fastest way to drive traffic to your web is using Google adwords with PPC marketing.

I found out these 2 sites listed below are very informative, and you can join them. Both charge nominal fees for their services.
