This video was posted in 2007, so he is using a an older version of VLC. They have made some improvements to the UI, so that’s why you are seeing a different interface.

hi good video . when i want to watch a movie that is Avi xvid divx it wont work just the sound works

For the current version of VLC, this video isn’t any help. I can’t find any way this program can convert any file into any other kind of file. Videos like this that are over two years out of date ought to be deleted.

do you know any site that can give me the old vlc player? that one is much better, i am having problems using the one i have, & i cant seem to get it to convert videos or music
